摘要: Abstract In the accompanying paper preparation of phosphorylating submitochondrial particles from baker's yeast ( Saccharomyces cerevisiae ) was described. It shown that as well mitochondria investigated in these studies did not catalyze oxidative phosphorylation at DPNH-cytochrome b site. Since it considered possible this deficiency might be reflected composition electron transfer chain, an investigation segment and undertaken. This presents evidence S. lacks one or more components found corresponding mammalian cell respiratory chain.
