摘要: Abstract 1. An ATP-dependent oxidation of cytochrome b was observed in submitochondrial particles from beef heart the presence succinate, malonate, sulfide, and antimycin A. The reaction inhibited by rotenone, rutamycin, uncoupling agents. Under same conditions an H2O2 production took place. 2. Spectrophotometric measurements also revealed reduction flavin. In contrast to b, flavin required addition catalytic amounts NAD depleted particles. 3. ATP-dependent, rotenone-sensitive, ferricyanide succinate which did not require NAD. 4. It concluded that reversed electron transfer driven ATP takes place via a slowly autoxidizable carrier. absence NAD, or oxygen can accept electrons this carrier, be channeled flavoprotein 5. These findings strongly suggest reversal energy coupling site is located between NADH dehydrogenase.
