摘要: We present a novel method for integrating two single-molecule measurement modalities, namely, total internal reflection microscopy and electrical detection of biomolecules using nanopores. Demonstrated here is the nanopore based biosensing performed simultaneously in-sync with optical analytes. This makes it possible, first time, to visualize DNA DNA-protein complexes translocating through high temporal resolution (1000 frames/s) good signal background. paper describes detailed experimental design custom optics data acquisition hardware achieve simultaneous measurements on labeled as they traverse approximately 4 nm synthetic pore. In conclusion, we discuss new directions measurements, which this technique opens up.
