摘要: Abstract The periodontal index (PI), the number of decayed, missing and filled teeth (DMF), fluid flow rates stimulated parotid secretions, IgA concentrations were recorded in 27 young males. Values for secretion calculated from rates. Variations found between different individuals; these independent rate thus reflected true differences glandular output. A statistically significant, negative correlation was DMF score rate. Conversely, PI tended to be positively correlated with concentration IgA. It is suggested that simultaneous presence both diseases may obscure basic relationship either disease.
