Veterinary pharmacology: history, current status and future prospects.

摘要: Veterinary therapeutics, based on the art of Materia Medica, has been practised for countless centuries, but science veterinary pharmacology is very recent origin. This review traces contribution Medica to therapeutics from Egyptian period through Age Enlightenment. The first tentative steps in development were taken 18th century, it was not until mid 20th century that replaced Medica. developments pharmacology, with emphasis explosion knowledge 35 year 2010. range factors which have influenced current status discipline are reviewed.
