摘要: Enzyme-treated asparagus extract (ETAS) exerts a wide variety of beneficial biological actions including facilitating anti-cortisol stress and neurological anti-aging responses. However, the anti-skin aging effects ETAS remain to be elucidated. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) play pivotal roles in skin aging. Increased ROS levels fibroblasts response ultraviolet irradiation activate c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) its downstream transcription factor activator protein-1 (AP-1), resultant gene expression matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) isoforms accelerates collagen breakdown dermis. Therefore, we explored whether has by attenuating oxidative responses fibroblasts. Simultaneous treatment murine L929 with hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) either or dextrin showed that significantly suppressed H2O2-induced MMP-9 mRNA as measured real-time polymerase chain reaction. also clearly H2O2-stimulated phosphorylation (AP-1 subunit) JNK determined Western blot. did not affect increased amounts carbonyl proteins H2O2, blotting. These results suggest diminishes cellular responsiveness but does scavenge ROS. Thus, potential prevent through dermal
