摘要: Enzyme-treated asparagus extract (ETAS) has been developed as a novel anti-stress functional food ingredient that is produced from asparagus. Two human intervention trials with ETAS were conducted in healthy adult male volunteers. Study 1 was randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study to assess the effects of on expression heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) mRNA blood and autonomic nervous system (ANS). The group showed tendency enhance HSP70 level compared placebo group. Several ANS condition parameters significantly improved when In 2, placebo-controlled, crossover trial investigated influence stress-related hormones sleep. Serum salivary cortisol levels elevated baseline during period, but remained unchanged period. chromogranin A decreased ETAS-treated subjects their levels. actual sleep time not different between placebo. However, divided into two categories based efficiency or average night sleeping time, intake effective modulate state among those low excess time.
