摘要: Summary Background Nadifloxacin is an anti-microbial quinolone derivative widely used for the treatment of acne as a topical agent. This drug has been suggested to have not only anti-bacterial but also anti-inflammatory actions, which may beneficial effect on some aspects inflammatory acne. Objective To further clarify its abilities modulate skin immunity, we investigated whether nadifloxacin affects hapten- and superantigen-presenting capacities epidermal Langerhans cells (LC) keratinocytes, respectively. Methods Immune lymph node CD4+ T from trinitrophenyl-sensitized BALB/c mice were cocultured with LC-enriched (LC-EC) that freshly isolated syngeneic derivatized trinitrophenyl hapten in presence or absence nadifloxacin. Alternatively, LC-EC preincubated (NDFX), modified hapten, cultured immune cells. The effects surface molecule expression LC keratinocytes tested by flow cytometry cellular ELISA. Results at 10 μg/ml more significantly suppressed antigen-presenting function ability MHC class II+ present superantigen was preincubation 30 μg/ml These functional reductions reflected decreased II and/or costimulatory molecules. Conclusion downmodulates cutaneous immunity interfering
