摘要: Haemophilus ducreyi ATCC 33922, a virulent, well-characterized strain, was used to construct genomic library in bacteriophage expression vector. Three DNA fragments were selected for use as probes on the basis of their ability encode H. ducreyi-specific proteins, demonstrated by reactivity with rabbit polyclonal antiserum. With DNA-DNA hybridization, three probes, labeled 32P, reacted strongly 16 strains obtained from variety sources. Thirty-seven other bacterial isolates, representing 33 different species and including organisms likely be encountered urogenital tract, also tested probes. Twenty-eight these genital pathogen Neisseria gonorrhoeae, showed no hybridization In addition, herpes simplex virus-infected tissue culture cells Treponema pallidum-infected testicular fluid completely nonreactive.
