摘要: The capacity to induce neoplasia in human tissue the laboratory has recently provided a new platform for cancer research. Malignant conversion can be achieved vivo by expressing genes of interest that been regenerated on immune-deficient mice. Induction skin recapitulates three-dimensional architecture, polarity, basement membrane structure, extracellular matrix, oncogene signalling and therapeutic target proteins found intact vivo. Human-tissue models therefore provide an opportunity elucidate fundamental mechanisms, assess oncogenic potency mutations associated with specific cancers develop therapies.
