Specialized programmable logic region with low-power mode

摘要: In a specialized functional region of programmable logic device, in which certain components may not be used, those can placed low-power mode so that they do switch. For example, an adder is being used but receiving inputs, the current path for adding circuitry interrupted, while output forced low. If carry/look-ahead adder, GENERATE and PROPAGATE signals normally subsequent stages to predict value carry signal are constant values even if inputs changing.
