摘要: Reduced and oxidized glutathione (GSH GSSG), protein-bound glutathione, lipid peroxidation antioxidant enzyme activities were determined in the erythrocyte lysates membranes of type I II alcoholics order to clarify effect age-of-onset duration alcohol consumption on oxidant status. The osmotic fragility susceptibility erythrocytes haemolysis also determined. Erythrocyte was significantly increased but, GSH GSH, GSH/GSSG ratio markedly decreased alcoholic subgroups. count haemoglobin content blood found be accordance with finding that more fragile less resistant particularly alcoholics. present study showed ethanol-induced oxidative stress can lead membrane-specific injuries subtypes.
