摘要: When using the mass balance equation to model indoor air quality, primary assumption is that of uniform mixing. Different points in a single compartment are assumed have same instantaneous pollutant concentrations as all other points. Although such an may be unrealistic, under certain conditions predictions (or measurements) exposures at room still within acceptable limits error (e.g., 10%). In this article, three studies mixing environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) pollutants reviewed, and data from several ETS field presented. Under typical for both short sources 10 min) continuous smoking lounges, I find average exposure point represent across 10% averaging times ranging 12 80 min. present method determining theoretical estimates source.
