A new approach for free vibration analysis of thin circular cylindrical shell

摘要: A new method for calculating the free vibration frequencies of a thin circular cylindrical shell is presented, based on Flugge's theory equations orthotropic materials. general displacement representation introduced, and type coupled polynomial eigenvalue problem developed in present study. Numerical examples are given isotropic shells. Comparison with that from classical dynamic approach studied frequency an shell.
