摘要: Abstract The main purpose of this study is to measure the spatial variability a specific soil characteristic, its content nutrients and toxic metals, use established patterns as an indicator inherent quality natural soils Douro river basin for grapevine cultivation. A total 108 topsoil samples were collect within catchment. All analysed 26 chemical elements by ICP-ES OPTIMA at ACME Anal. Lab. (ISO 9002 Accredited Co.). For study, we selected only that are relevant vineyards, is, or those which potentially toxic. In our used following methodology: (i) categorisation quantitative variables multiple correspondence analysis (MCA) determine similarities among them; (ii) structural through variography identify variability; (iii) mapping MCA factors ordinary kriging define, basin, areas in can be characterised according their contents elements. This methodology allows determination groups similar instead exhaustive “one-by-one” variable since data reduces amount information must interpreted order assess aptness grapes plantation.
