摘要: Background: Physical exercise is a systematic sequence of movements executed with predefined purpose. This muscular activity impacts not only on circulatory adaptations, but also neuronal integration the potential to influence cognition. The aim this review was determine whether literature supports idea that physical promotes cognitive benefits in healthy adults. Methods: A search for relevant articles performed according Preferred Reporting Items Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis criteria using available databases (PubMed, LILACS, Scopus, Web Science, Cochrane Library, OpenGrey, Google Scholar CENTRAL). terms included "humans" or "adults" "cognition" "awareness" "cognitive dissonance" reserve" "comprehension" "consciousness" "motor activity" "exercise" "physical fitness," "aged" "nervous system diseases," purpose finding associations between moderate methodological quality risk bias unit assessed eligibility articles. Results: total 7179 were identified. Following assessment, three identified fulfill inclusion criteria. An association cognition observed. Improvements parameters such as reduced simple reaction time, improved response precision working memory among Conclusion: found improves
