摘要: Brevetoxins are lipid-soluble polyether marine toxins of unique structure and pharmacological function. Toxins active in vivo the nanomolar to picomolar concentration range vitro isolated neuromuscular or giant axon preparations single-cell subcellular model systems. Their effect is excitatory, mediated by enhancement cellular Na+ influx. bind at site 5 on voltage-sensitive sodium channel, a specificity shared with ciguatoxin. This allosterically linked other natural toxin binding sites channel.
