摘要: Prediction of intracellular metabolic fluxes based on optimal biomass assumption is a well-known computational approach. While there has been significant emphasis the optimality, cellular flexibility, co-occurrence suboptimal flux distributions in microbial population, hardly considered related methods. We have implemented flexibility-incorporated optimization framework to calculate few extracellular measurement constraints. Taking into account slightly together with dual-optimality (maximization growth rate followed by minimization total enzyme amount) we were able show positive effect incorporating flexibility and minimal consumption better prediction central carbon metabolism two microorganisms: E. coli S. cerevisiae.
