摘要: This report is the documentation of a new model for large scale solution Boussinesq equations. The equations are briefly presented with emphasis on inclusion spherical coordinates and Coriolis force. We have chosen to start standard formulation, but modified it achieve improved dispersion properties moderately short waves. formulation put into context in general an appendix. Describing first discretization detail, we then design higher order numerical differences, analyse dispersion, stability convergence rate iteration scheme used at each time step. performance present also compared state art models (FUNWAVE/COULWAVE). A selection tests performed validate code assess applicability accuracy method. include eigenoscillations basins, solitary wave propagation, comparison pre-existing models, diffraction incident waves by vertical cylinder trans-Atlantic propagation hypothetical tsunami from La Palma island. latter case pursued further companion paper. All indicate that correctly coded, efficient robust.
