摘要: Abstract In this study a novel prime-boost immunisation strategy was evaluated. Priming of BALB/c mice by the intranasal route with plasmid DNA encoding β-galactosidase (LacZ) or without heat-labile enterotoxin (LT) Escherichia coli as mucosal adjuvant, resulted in induction weak serum antibody and proliferative T-cell responses. However, following an intraperitoneal booster injection protein (β-gal), strong responses were induced all mice. These highest primed intranasally mixture LacZ+LT compared to those (β-gal) alone. Moreover, produced high avidity antibodies subclasses IgG1 IgG2a, suggesting mixed Th1/Th2-type response. either alone, predominantly antibodies, Th2-type findings suggest that use heterologous DNA-prime, protein-boost scheme combining different routes administration, might be advantageous for accelerated immune
