摘要: Many aspects of the virology, epidemiology and prevention AIDS are fairly well known, but mechanisms whereby HIV produces characteristic severe immune deficiency remain essentially obscure. Even more importantly, armamentarium for controlling infection is still extremely limited. For these reasons it generally believed that research might profit greatly from study animal models.
