摘要: Abstract The European Water Framework Directive (WFD) requires monitoring programmes, to establish a coherent and comprehensive overview of ecological chemical water status. Recently within this context, the use biomarkers has been proposed for incorporation into WFD programmes. In present study, cages have used transplant (ranging between 14 75 days) adults dogwhelk Nassarius reticulatus in relation gradient tributyltin (TBT) pollution; is order evaluate its usefulness Only most polluted site (close shipyard) shows evidence TBT contamination effects. As such, it may be concluded that caged transplants with N. (adults) useful only areas high pollution. Thus, approach generally not surveillance operational monitoring, but some potential investigative monitoring.
