摘要: Background Although the impact of type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) and hypertension (HTN) on myocardial function has recently been studied using tissue Doppler echocardiography (TDE), independent role both conditions, influence other risk factors not completely defined, particularly in absence coronary artery disease (CAD). The aim this study was to assess functional reserve patients with DM or HTN apparently normal left ventricular (LV) systolic function. Methods Standard dobutamine stress TDE performed 128 subjects: 59 had DM, 20 HTN, 27 (HTN + DM), 22 subjects were controls (C). Subjects known CAD depressed LV excluded. In addition, standard two-dimensional measurements, regional peak (PSV), early (E′) late (A′) diastolic velocities, strain (S%) rate (SR), assessed at rest stress. Results mass did differ, although relative wall thickness significantly higher HTN. PSV differ but lowest E′ wave velocity lower during stress, as S% SR. Conclusions addition a negative effect functions. A might be postulated one pathophysiologic mechanisms for excessive occurrence congestive heart failure
