摘要: Abstract Ethanol is independently known to cause tissue damage through various mechanisms. This study was designed evaluate the protective effect of marine microalgae, Navicula incerta protein enzymatic hydrolysates (NEHs) against ethanol-induced hepatotoxicity in HepG2 cells transfected with human CYP2E1. Induction CYP2E1 by ethanol one central pathways which generates a state oxidative stress hepatocytes. When alcohol-induced were treated NEHs at concentrations, there dose-dependent decrease gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase (GGT) activity culture media and loss cell viability. Among constituents obtained papain (P-NEH), pronase-E (PR-NEH) α-chymotrypsin (A-NEH) attenuated cytotoxicity effectively, respectively. The appeared be GGT inhibitor. Therefore, cytoprotective effects HepG2/CYP2E1 could attributed inhibition NEHs. suggests that have enough potential considered as highly active compounds toxicity leads significant nutraceuticals.
