摘要: Abstract In this study, we prepared mixed micelles composed of a pH-sensitive poly(ethylene glycol)-doxorubicin conjugate prodrug and d-alpha-tocopheryl polyethylene glycol succinate (TPGS). The average hydrodynamic size the was approximately 144 nm, measured by dynamic light scattering. an MTT assay non-cytotoxic at low concentration but inhibited drug-resistant cancer cell (MCF-7/ADR) growth high dose. showed concentration-dependent cytotoxicity significantly increased in MCF-7/ADR cells. Confocal laser scanning images revealed that higher concentrations doxorubicin were successfully delivered into nuclei, enabling effective drug-induced death. Fluorescence microscopy indicated there less escape internalized from Therefore, enhanced drug efficacy cells is most likely attributed to synergistic effect drug-release inside suppression P-glycoprotein efflux activity TPGS.
