The Lattice Model for Addressing Phenomenological Diffusion Problems Associated with Grain Boundaries

摘要: Mapping a phenomenological diffusion problem onto lattice permits lattice-based random walk theory to address the problem. The solution is generally carried out using Monte Carlo methods. This paper reviews substantial progress that has been made with this method for tracer associated grain boundaries.
