摘要: Parkinson’s disease is characterized by the degeneration of nigrostriatal dopaminergic neurons with manifestation tremor, rigidity, akinesia, and disturbances postural reflexes. Medication using L-DOPA surgeries including deep brain stimulation are established therapies for disease. Cell also effective have rapidly developed recent advancement in molecular biological technology gene transfer. In this review, ex vivo therapy genetically engineered cell transplantation model animals described, catecholamine/neurotrophic factor-secreting or without encapsulation, as well direct injection viral vector to increase dopamine-production, ameliorate survival neurons, correct deteriorated microenvironment, normalize genetic abnormality. Furthermore, future directions clinical application described together trials therapy.
