摘要: Inspired by the lotus effect in nature, surface roughness engineering has led to novel materials and applications many fields. Despite rapid progress superhydrophobic superoleophobic materials, this concept of Mother Nature's choice is yet be applied design advanced nanocarriers for drug delivery. Pioneering work emerged development nanoparticles with rough surfaces gene delivery; however, preparation hydrophilic compositions but enhanced hydrophobic property at nanoscale level employing topology remains a challenge. Herein we report first time unique properties mesoporous hollow silica (MHS) nanospheres controlled roughness. Compared MHS smooth surface, (RMHS) same composition show unusual hydrophobicity, leading higher adsorption range molecules release molecules. RMHS loaded vancomycin exhibits an antibacterial effect. Our strategy provides new pathway diverse bioapplications.
