摘要: The study of the effect mechanical destratifiers on water quality in Toowoomba’s reservoirs is urgently needed to understand behaviour for management purposes. In this study, a 1-D hydrodynamic model (DYRESM) coupled with an aquatic ecosystem model (CAEDYM) adopted prediction column next 50 years. AWBM hydrological and ClimGen weather generator are used support the data preparation prediction. simulation results separated into two periods which period November – April represented by warm period and May October cold period. assess sustainability aspect risk factors vertical profiles reservoirs. A new index introduced level storages without use destratifiers. The main conclusions summarized below: (1) strong thermal stratification occurs during period, Cyanobacteria have high concentration. (2) (WQI) Cooby storage will be good or excellent level. WQIs tend decrease from mixers. continuous operation artificial mixers able increase WQI values average 15 grade points produces (3) The WQIs Cressbrook reservoir tendency level. The surface layer remain same slightly values at pumping elevation all layers four points. (4) Without mixers, safe levels raw storage can attained at 8 10 m depth. best/optimal can achieved multi-level withdrawals. extend withdrawal range 9 20 optimal fixed (5) between 14 30 depth time. nitrate total phosphorus probability being unsafe. mechanical surface widen range 16 37 This give more alternative
