Novel Er-doped PbO and B2O3 based glasses: investigation of quantum efficiency and non-radiative transition probability for 1.5 μm broadband emission fluorescence

摘要: Abstract Er 3+ -doped PbO:B 2 O 3 , PbO:Ga :B PbO:Bi and :Bi showing broadband 1.5 μm absorption emission are reported their spectra, radiative, non-radiative transition probabilities, fluorescence lifetime, quantum efficiency were studied. It was found that glasses with high refractive index (1.78–1.94) had spontaneous probability A j ′ (172.93–245.98 s −1 ). FT-IR spectra for such carried out in order to investigate vibration frequency phonon energy. The energy (1375–1200 cm ) decreased increasing PbO content. multiphonon relaxation all glass samples not a dominating factor the process. rates (254.02–613.32 therefore should be due transfer impurities (OH groups) cross-relaxations these glasses, which can minimized.
