Thermal stability and spectral properties of Er3+-doped gadolinium borosilicate glasses

摘要: Abstract A new glass of Gd 2 O 3 –B –SiO –Na O–Er system is prepared and the formation range experimentally obtained. Excellent thermal stability has been demonstrated using differential analysis. Effects B content on infrared spectral properties such as 1.5 μm emission bandwidth Judd–Ofelt parameter Ω t (  = 2, 4, 6) Er 3+ ions in observed. The exhibits a large integrated cross sections for band. -doped gadolinium borosilicate great candidate broadband erbium doped fiber amplifiers.
