DISCUSSION 5: Transitions in the Later Palaeolithic

摘要: This paper discusses a number of concepts common to “transitions” in the Later Palaeolithic, whether change should be multifaceted nature involving more than one cultural or technological attribute accepted as defining point time; extent which rate is important, it gradual, accelerated, punctuated uniform, and duration relevant debate. The case for refining chronologies discussed. concludes by drawing on other papers this section sourcebook make some general methodological points.
