摘要: Anthropomorphism has recently emerged in the literature as a useful tool for conservation. Within current conservation literature, description of development anthropomorphisms and range species that can be anthropomorphized overlooks established emerging evidence from anthropological other social science studies human–animal relationships. This research shows people anthropomorphize very broad species, including plants. We discuss how construct anthropomorphic meanings around through diversity mechanisms with both positive negative effects. then review many gradations forms anthropomorphism, some related conceptions non-Western cultures, which have different types utility Finally we cases where animals are but outcomes human-animal interactions Limiting use anthropomorphism to prosocial, intelligent, suffering risks suggesting not worthy because they like humans “right” ways. It would also mean overlooking application powerful promotion low-profile high biological value. emphasize conflicts ecosystem-level actions possible need carefully managed. Use must take into account engage attribute value their characteristics.
