摘要: Microbubbles (MB) are gas- or air-filled lipid-shell microspheres in the micron-size range with special acoustic properties that have been used since a long time as diagnostic ultrasound (US) echo-contrasts (Eur J Radiol 27:S157–60, 1998). When an MB passes through US energy field, it experiences translations and size-oscillations, generating harmonic signals which able to increase impedance mismatch between blood surrounding tissue, improving vascular (Advances echo imaging using contrast enhancement, 2nd ed. Dordrecht: Kluwer; 1997). However, last few years, therapeutic effects demonstrated, role of enhancers has developed.
