摘要: The aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) is a DNA binding protein that acts as nuclear mediating xenobiotic metabolism and environmental responses. Owing to the evolutionary conservation of this gene its widespread expression in immune circulatory systems, AhR has for many years been almost exclusively studied by pharmacological/toxicological field role contaminant toxicity. More recently, functions adaption have examined context occurrence, development, therapy cardiovascular diseases. Increasing evidence suggests involved maintaining homeostasis or triggering pathogenesis modulating biological responses critical cell types system. Here, we describe structure, distribution, ligands signaling pathway review impact on physiology. We also discuss potential contribution new factor targeted treatment
