摘要: We undertook the first broad-scale quasi-experimental evaluation of youth outcomes in communities using Communities That Care program (Hawkins, J. D., & Catalano, R. F., Jr. San Francisco, CA, USA: Jossey-Bass Inc, Publishers, 1992a), which targets adolescent problem behaviors. evaluated 15 risk factors and 6 (substance use delinquent behaviors) for 38,107 2001 98,436 2003 Pennsylvania schools. Multilevel analyses compared student reports with CTC programs to comparable without CTC, while controlling level poverty community. Results favored at greater than chance levels terms lower rates some outcomes. In a follow-up analysis, community grade cohorts were included only if cohort was expected benefit from sponsored (based on timing implementation target age program). Evidence effects that received evidence-based even stronger. These findings suggest coalitions can affect public health problems population level, especially when are utilized.
