摘要: An eight-year-old boy is reported who presented with a progressive mental deterioration in the years following nocturnal asymmetrical generalized tonic-clonic seizure. The diagnosis of continuous spikes and waves during slow sleep (CSWS) was made. Once month recording made twenty-two consecutive months detailed neuropsychological studies were over period 30 months. Intensive antiepileptic treatment resulted disappearance CSWS recovery from intellectual-, language- behavioural disturbances. good results still present at follow-up examination later.
