Effects of femara and tamoxifen on proliferation of FM3A cells in culture.

摘要: In this study, antiproliferative effects of the selective estrogen receptor modulator Tamoxifen and aromatase inhibitor letrozole (Femara) were evaluated compared using FM3A cell line, originating from a C3H mouse mammary carcinoma positive in terms (ER) expression. Cell kinetic parameters including labelling index, mitotic index assessed after exposure the. line to 0.001µg/ml 0.25µg/ml Femara for 4, 8, 16 32 h all parameters. The results showed that growth was inhibited by both agents. There significant decrease increase apoptotic experimental groups. differences between control groups statistically (p<0.001) applications.
