摘要: Part II of Dr. Tatham's decennial supplement to the 55th report Registrar-General, published in 1897, contained extremely valuable statistics relating relative death-rates and what are known as “comparative mortality figures” men engaged different occupations. These dealt not only with deaths from all causes conjunction, but also certain diseases; latter figures throw important light upon influence occupation on mortality, for instance, tuberculosis cancer.
