摘要: Abstract The surface hydrides formed on commercial purity titanium (CP-Ti) and Ti–6Al–4V alloy having been electrolytically hydrogenated in 1 N aqueous sulfuric acid solution were identified to be δ-hydrides. Structure composition of these δ-hydrides affected by the thermal oxide films, additive electrolyte, applied current density operating period. lattice constants ( a δ ) observed this study range from 4.383 4.431 A for CP-Ti 4.293 4.308 A Ti–6Al–4V. nonstoichiometric ratios, x , after are not more than 1.84. X-ray diffractometry (XRD) gave (indirectly – curve) characterize hydrides. Glow discharge optical spectroscopy (GDOS) offered quantitative values such as maximum hydrogen diffusion depth (MHD), average concentration C A ), specific uptake (SHU), efficiency (HUE), coefficients inhibiting performance (CIP) absorption rates elucidate processing parameters hydrogenation behavior.
