摘要: Monoclonal antibodies (MABs) are an exciting development in the field of clinical immunology. Secreted large amounts from hybrid myeloma (hybridoma) cell lines, MABs directed at a specific antigen, such as tumor antigens, providing major advantage over conventional, heterogeneous antisera. have shown promise treatment cancer, producing remission some patients with leukemia and lymphoma. The future uses enormous, including passive immunization against infections allergies, autoimmune disease, antibody drug intoxications. impact MAB technology on medicine will be felt years to come.
