摘要: Here, we applied rubbing on thiophene-basedorganic semiconductor thin films to induce a reversible mechanical amorphisation. Amorphisation is associated with fluorescence switching, which regulated by the polymorphic nature of film. Thermal annealing rubbed produces an opposite effect respect rubbing, inducing film crystallization. Notably, thermal crystallisation starts at low temperature but generates polymorph stable high in bulk. The mechanism transformation explained considering properties material and demonstrated through combined X-ray diffraction, atomic force microscopy photoluminescence confocal microscopy.
