摘要: Novel magnetic resonance imaging agents comprise complexes of paramagnetic ions with alkoxyalkylamide derivatives diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (''DTPA'') or ethylenediaminetetyraacetic (''EDTA''). These novel are characterized by excellent NMR image-contrasting properties and high solubilities in physiological solutions. A method performing an diagnostic procedure involves administering to a warm-blooded animal effective amount complex as decribed above then exposing the procedure, thereby at least portion body animal.
