摘要: The development of colorectal cancer screening programs in many countries has led to increasingly large numbers patients undergoing optical colonoscopy. Although acute complications from colonoscopy are uncommon, they may occur up 5% or more where biopsies therapeutic procedures performed. Abdominal radiographs value only for the detection intraperitoneal perforation. There is a wide spectrum other important associated complications. Such most reliably identified using abdominal and pelvic CT, which also can guide appropriate conservative, interventional, surgical management.
