摘要: Abstract Two new copper(II) complexes with the bronchodilator Clenbuterol (HL) have been synthesized: binuclear complex Cu2L2Cl2 · 4DMSO (1) and mononuclear CuL2 · 2CH3OH (2) studied using electronic, IR EPR spectra, magnetochemical, thermogravimetric single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods. Each of Cu(II) centres in 1 is four coordinated by one terminal chlorine nitrogen atom, two bridging oxygen atoms from different ligand molecules. molecule also links DMSO molecules hydrogen bonds types S O⋯H2N O⋯HN. The overall structure built sheets Cu2L2Cl2, parallel to ab plane, separated layers DMSO. In moiety 2, bidentately N O ligands, forming a nearly square-planar CuL2. CH3OH are incorporated unit cell, between hydroxyl atom CH3OH⋯O(1). Both structures correlate well spectral, magnetochemical thermal behaviour 2.
