摘要: Abstract : The revised arsenic maximum contaminant level (MCL) of 0.010 mg/L is expected to impact many water utility systems, particularly those in western states, where high levels naturally-occurring are more common. An Army installation was faced with treating groundwater (GW) reduce and fluoride concentrations. Various treatment technologies were evaluated based on engineering, economic, regulatory criteria. Water conservation source quality issues also impacted technology selection. Ultimately, activated alumina deemed most feasible, will be pilot tested verify removal efficiencies develop full-scale design data.
