摘要: Objectives This paper reviews evidence of an association between zinc (Zn) nutrition and Alzheimer's disease (AD) or age-associated cognitive decline. The involvement in the pathology AD has been reported hundreds times. It is, however, still a matter debate whether progression can be influenced by modifying diet. Methods We searched Medline, Embase, Biosis, ALOIS, Cochrane central register controlled trials, database systematic reviews, different publisher databases, included studies that dealt with diet decline elderly subjects. Results Fifty-five met inclusion criteria. Neither randomized-controlled trials nor observational provide conclusive Zn is associated AD.
