摘要: Abstract Neutron focusing, or increased current density at the expense of beam divergence, can be obtained by addition a converging guide end straight guide. The greatest gains are achieved when critical angle coating is much greater than that gain limited, however, increase in neutron trajectory makes with axis upon successive reflections. Acceptance diagrams used for deriving analytical expressions describing transmission properties such systems. results reduced to nine basic formulae depending on geometric configuration and coatings guides. A graphical method presented determining appropriate expression particular relative surface coatings, as function wavelength. agreement earlier measurements straight-converging system.
