摘要: We have investigated the development of crystal morphology and phase in ultrafine titanium dioxide particles. The particles were produced by a droplet-to-particle method starting from propanolic tetraisopropoxide solution, calcined vertical aerosol reactor air. Mobility size classified 40-nm diameter conveyed to investigate particle changes at 20–1200°C with 5–1-s residence time. In addition, polydisperse used study formation electron microscopy. According differential mobility analysis, was reduced 21–23-nm 600°C above. Precursor decomposition occurred between 20°C 500°C. increased 700°C above observed coincide irregular 800°C faceted 900°C 1200°C, according transmission anatase approach minimized surface energy forming {101} {001} crystallographic surfaces. Anatase 500–1200°C single crystals. Indications minor rutile 1200°C. relatively stable vs. temperature is attributed defect free structure lack crystal–crystal attachment points.
