摘要: Given recent profound improvements in the effectiveness of antiviral treatment for chronic Hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection, we aimed to describe characteristics patients referred hepatology expert centres France from 2000 2007 and 2010 2014, identify factors associated with severe liver disease at their first visit evaluation. We analysed data two sources covering all France: former hepatitis surveillance network, which included between 2007, ANRS CO22 HEPATHER multi-centre cohort, 2012 2014. Severe (SLD) was defined as presence either cirrhosis (histological, biochemical or clinical) hepatocellular carcinoma. Multivariable Poisson regression models were used SLD complete-case analysis after multiple imputation. Overall, 16,851 diagnosed 11.6%. significantly known risk (male sex, history excessive alcohol intake, HCV genotype 3), late referral hepatologists diagnosis an older age. Providing earlier specialised care may be important target public health action.
